Submitted for Your Approval: A Panel Discussion on Rod Serling: Next on TVC

Author Anne Serling, writer/producer Joseph Dougherty and TV historian Dan Farren will join us on the next edition of TV CONFIDENTIAL, Friday at 7pm ET and PT on Share-a-Vision Radio, KSAV.org.

Joseph Dougherty will return this week for a roundtable discussion on the legacy of Rod Serling, his impact on three generations of television writers, and episodes of Twilight Zone and Night Gallery that continue to stay with us. Joe is the Emmy Award-winning writer, producer, director of such shows as thirtysomething, Saving Grace, and Pretty Little Liars. He is also one of the biggest Twilight Zone fans that we know.

Joining Joe on the panel will be Anne Serling, Rod’s daughter, and an accomplished writer in her own right. Anne’s book, As I Knew Him: My Dad, Rod Serling, is a poignant memoir of growing up with Rod Serling that also humanizes the man whom many of us think of as an icon.

Dan Farren will also be with us for the hour; Dan is one of the producers of Story Salon, plus he reviews movies for SchmoesKnow.com.
