Florence Henderson on what made “The Brady Bunch” work

Monday, January 4th, 2010

“I think it helped that I had four young children of my own at the time,” the singer/actress said in an interview with the San Francisco Chronicle. “I understood what it was to be a parent. I also knew what it was to have longings as a child. Plus we all worked very hard and had a special feeling for each other. I still see all my ‘children.’ Eve Plumb [Jan Brady] came to my show in L.A.”

Henderson is bringing her one-woman show, “All The Lives of Me: A Musical Journey,” to the Rrazz Room at the Hotel Nikko in San Francisco for a one-week engagement (Jan. 5 thru Jan. 10).
